<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fuel cell operating with high electromotive force using a fuel with high safety and easiness to handle. <P>SOLUTION: A direct liquid fuel type fuel cell uses an aqueous solution of borane-ammonium compound expressed by the chemical formula, R<SB>n</SB>NH<SB>3-n</SB>BH<SB>3</SB>, wherein R represents monovalent hydrocarbon group and n represent an integer of 0 to 3, but two or three R's may be combined with each other to form a nitrogen-containing structure together with nitrogen atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
