PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating device equipped with a lubricating oil recovery means by which lubricating oil separated from lubricating oil system and mixed in an operating medium of operating medium system is recovered and returned to the lubricating oil system, and a lubricating oil recovery method. SOLUTION: A power generating device drives a power generator 12 by leading operating medium vapor generated in a steam generator 11 to a turbine 13, and feeds the operating medium liquid condensed with a condenser 15 to a steam generator 11 through a liquid feed pump 16 and the lubricating oil to bearings 18, 19 of the power generator 12 with a lubricating oil feed pump 20. A gas-liquid separator 34 is connected with a lubricating oil circulation passage 24 through the medium of a flow control means (an orifice 29). High pressure vapor 102 of the operating medium from the the steam generator 11 is led to the gas-liquid separator 34. The mixture of the operating medium and lubricating oil near a liquid surface of operating medium liquid is returned to the lubricating circulation passage 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
