PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce discharge quantity of oil mist included in refrigerant gas compressed and discharged in a compression mechanism part. SOLUTION: A shield plate is provided on a muffler attached to a bearing part constructing the compression mechanism part between the compression mechanism part and a motor rotor. Swirl of refrigerant gas generated by rotation of the rotor is suppressed to reduce oil mist included in the refrigerant gas coming into a hermetic vessel or refrigeration cycle. The low cost reliable hermetic compressor of a simple structure capable of surely reducing oil discharge quantity is provided by the structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
