<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film which can prevent the occurrence of static electricity when delivered while preventing blocking when it is wound and stored. <P>SOLUTION: The release film comprises a substrate 13 and a release agent layer 11. Antistatic layers 12 are formed on the opposite side of the substrate where the release agent layer is prepared. The antistatic layer is formed from the same kind material as the main material of the release agent layer. When the arithmetic mean roughness Ra of the outer surface of the release agent layer is Ra<SB>1</SB>(nm), and the arithmetic mean roughness Ra of the outer surface of the antistatic layer is Ra<SB>2</SB>(nm), the relations of Ra<SB>1</SB>≤15 and Ra<SB>1</SB><Ra<SB>2</SB>are satisfied.
