PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor exhibiting high sealability in which bonding strength of a sealing body and where the enclosure case is enhanced, even when the sealing body (resin) and the enclosure case (metal material) of the capacitor are composed of different materials, bonding force can be sustained stably even for external force, and high bonding strength is ensured over a long term, and to provide its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: An enclosure case 2 is constituted of a metal material and the end 2a of its opening is subjected to surface treatment by immersing it in an aqueous solution of ammonia, hydrazine, and one kind or more of compounds selected from among water-soluble amine based compounds. An abutting material 18 for sealing body constituted of a thermoplastic material is bonded integrally to the surface treated part, and the sealing body 3 is constituted of resin and sealed tightly to the abutting material 18 and the body is sealed.
