PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor exhibiting good characteristics even in a test in 85°C/85% RH by enhancing moisture resistant characteristics. SOLUTION: Cathode foil composed of a valve metal and anode foil composed of a valve metal having an oxide film formed on a surface are wound through a separator to form a capacitor element, and a solid electrolytic layer is formed of a polymerizable monomer and a conductive polymer impregnated with an oxidizing agent. In such a solid electrolytic capacitor, the capacitor element in which the solid electrolytic layer is formed is sealed in an enclosure case together with A-type dry silica gel powder or A-type dry silica gel.
