PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sufficient light shielding performance, even if light shielding elements are arranged at an interval larger than its width. SOLUTION: This window cover 1 has a series of separated light shielding elements 2 like a blade. The respective light shielding elements 2 have a flap 7 extending from the long edge of one or both of the light shielding elements 2. The interval between the adjacent light shielding elements 2 is set larger than the width of the light shielding elements 2, and is set smaller than or equal to a value of adding the width of the light shielding elements 2 and a width of the flap 7. Since cords 3 and 4 are installed on the long edge of the light shielding elements 2, the light shielding elements 2 can be inclined or folded up by being associated to the flat 7.
