PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to efficiently collect a silicone containing material from which an organic substance is removed. SOLUTION: This collection method of the silicone containing material characteristically collects a solid part a main component of which is abrasive grains by separating used slurry in which silicone grains are mixed in the slurry made of the abrasive grains and a dispersion medium to disperse them by primary centrifugal separation, collects a part of liquid a main component of which is the dispersion medium by separating the liquid to be provided by the primary centrifugal separation by secondary centrifugal separation, removes the organic substance contained in a test by heat-treating the test made of at least one of residue of the liquid provided by the secondary centrifugal separation and the sludge by using a rotary kiln and collects the test from which the organic substance is removed.
