<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that controls a fan so as to reduce variations in the rotating speed of the fan, and a fan control method to be performed in the information processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A computer having a heating body, a sensor for detecting the temperature of the heating body, and the fan for cooling the heating body detects the temperature of the heating body, and if a first temperature detected at a first time is higher than a second temperature detected at a second time after the first time, controls the rotating speed of the fan corresponding to the second detected temperature at the same level as the rotating speed of the fan corresponding to the first detected temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
