PITCH ESTIMATION METHOD AND DEVICE, AND PROGRAM FOR PITCH ESTIMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the weight of a probability density function of a fundamental frequency and the value of a higher harmonic component with a less frequency of calculation than before.

SOLUTION: 1200log2h and exp[-(x-(F+1200log2h))2/2W2] in expression (o) are precalculated and prestored into a memory of a computer. A calculation based upon the expression is carried out only as to a fundamental frequency F in which x-(F+1200log2h) is close to 0. Consequently, the frequency of calculation can be made much less than before and the calculation time can be shortened.
