Golf bag 100 comprises bag body 110, supporting legs 130 pivotally attached to the rear of bag body 110, actuating arm 140 for deploying and collapsing the legs, and sleeve 150 which holds a lower part of the actuating arm. A lower end of bag body 110 is sloped rearwardly and upwards, and base 120 is provided on the sloped lower end such that the base is diagonally inclined relative to an axis of the bag body. Actuating arm 140 attaches to hook 120a provided on a lower rear surface of base 140, and support rib 180 is provided at the front of bag body 110 with an upper end being held in rib support hole 190a at the top of bag body 110 and a lower end being held in rib support 190b in the bag body. Base 120 may have a constant height, and rib 180 may have a length which is less than the length of bag body 110. Actuating arm 140 extends beyond the bottom of base 120, such that when bag 100 is placed on the ground, actuation arm 140 is pushed upwardly which results in legs 130 being deployed (see fig. 5). |
