A natural, intestinally active feed additive includes an active component obtained from plants of the genus Citrus. The active component is sorbed on/in a porous mineral carrier material based on hydrated magnesium and/or aluminium silicates and being in form of particles, where at least 55 % by weight of the particles have a size between 50 and 700 mu m. The feed additive is suitable for replacing conventional growth-pro-moters, which are now being phased out. |
