Textile fibres of cellulose as defined are dyed and bleached simultaneously by the application of sulphuric acid esters of leuco vat dyes in an alkaline bath in the presence of hydrogen peroxide as bleaching agent followed by development in vats preferably containing sulphuric acid and sodium nitrite. Wetting, dispersing, stabilising and sequestering agents are also used. |
