The terminal has a U-shaped base plate (6), which is held by blades (7, 8) in a retainer of a terminal strip block of a coil carrier body. Two connectors provided for outer and inner contacts, respectively are designed as a unitary part and are connected with the base plate. A cross-hole is provided in the retainer to establish an electrical connection for the blades. The cross-hole and the end sections of the blades cross one another.
