A process for preparing silicate fertilizer composition is provided to produce the fertilizer effective to neutralize and improve acidified soil caused by chemical fertilizer and strengthen stems and leaves of plants by admixing cullet for sodium silicate(Na2SiO3) and other sodium compounds to use alkaline ingredient in Na2SiO3 and primary ingredients for growing the plants. The process comprises the steps of: preparing a composition for silicate fertilizer by blending 50-66.45wt.% of cullet, 25-35wt.% of Na2CO3, 2-3wt.% of Na2B4O7, 1-3wt.% of (NaPO3)6, 0.5-1wt.% of K2CO3, 4-5wt.% of Na2P2O7, 0.5-1wt.% of CaCO3, 0.5-1wt.% of MgO and 0.05-1wt.% of Na2MoO4; homogeneously mixing the materials; condensation-melting the mixture in a melting furnace at 1,300-1,450deg.C; sequentially tapping, slowly cooling and quenching the molten material to form a glass phase; and milling the glass material to form particles and pulverized powder. Alternatively, the cold glass phase is put into an autoclave and dissolved into liquid phase by pressurized vapor with 5 to 6 atm. |
