A method for obtaining technical carbon contains stepped cylindrical body, which inner surface is lined with refractory material and contains subsequently and coaxially disposed cylindrical combustion chamber, equipped with burner and mechanisms for supplying fuel and air, cylindrical mixing chamber equipped with mechanisms for supplying hydrocarbon raw stock, cylindrical reaction chamber and cylindrical quenching chamber, equipped with mechanisms for supplying water cooling, at that metallic body in the area of combustion chamber is made of a large diameter. A stepped cylindrical metallic body at areas of combustion chamber and mixing chamber contains external cylindrical wall, coaxially disposed with cylindrical metal body with formation between them of closed space for the forced water cooling, and external cylindrical metal wall is equipped with mechanisms for supplying water cooling to the closed space between said walls and discharge from it, at that mixing chamber is lined with an additional layer of refractory material.
