A hydrated ammonium orthophosphate of nickel (II) of the general formula of [Ni(NH3)n(H2O)m]3(PO4)2, where n=1,0+- 0,1, m=3,0, contains as anion the phosphate-ion obtained as solid coordination compound based on use of crystalline nickel orthophosphate (II) Ni3(PO4)2.8H2O, concentrated aqueous solution of ammonium (23 25 % by weight) and acetone as starting material.
