A combustion engine has a case, a cylinder, a cylinder head with inlet and outlet valves, a piston, a crankshaft and con-rod, its one end is hinged in the journal of the crankshaft. Besides that the piston is connected to the piston rod, the free endof this one is installed in the guides rigidly fixed in the case, and in the free end of the piston rod another end of the con-rod is hinged. The cylinder is placed with respect to the axis of rotation of the crankshaft in such way that at the instant of piston being positioned near the cylinder head the crank of the crankshaft is, with respect to the long axis of the cylinder and the guides, in far section of trajectory of the con-rod journal of the crankshaft.
