An organic light emitting display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to protect an organic light emitting element and an organic TFT(Thin Film Transistor) by preventing an electric field from being focused on an edge portion of a pixel electrode. A first capacitor electrode, source and drain electrodes, and a pixel electrode(131) are arranged on a substrate(100). A first insulation film(101) includes a first aperture for exposing a portion of the first capacitor electrode, a second aperture for exposing facing portions of the source and drain electrodes, and a third aperture for exposing a portion of the pixel electrode. A gate insulation film(125) is arranged in the second aperture of the first insulation film. An intermediate layer(133) is arranged in the third aperture and at least includes a light emitting layer. A gate electrode is arranged on the gate insulation film and a counter electrode is arranged on the intermediate layer. A second insulation film(102) is arranged to cover the first capacitor electrode, the gate electrode, and the counter electrode. A second capacitor electrode(112) is arranged to correspond to the first capacitor electrode on the second insulation film.
