The seat has a locking mechanism maintaining a seat structure (30) in a deployed position and a spring bringing the structure from the deployed to a folded position. The structure has an armature (32) supporting a seat cushion and mounted rotating around a horizontal axle (42) fixed to a backrest. A connection unit (34) has front and rear ends, where the rear end is mounted rotating around an axle (22) integrated to a frame. A front support (36) is articulated at the front ends of the unit and the armature, where the support is integrated to the frame by the mechanism in a disengaged manner.
