PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless transmission apparatus that can be manufactured at low cost and is capable of changing a frequency bandwidth or modulation scheme of a transmission signal. SOLUTION: A signal processing circuit 12 receives an output of a modulation circuit 11, performs amplification, filtering and mixing and generates a signal with a selected frequency bandwidth. A modulation signal output control circuit 15 refers to a table 13 defining correspondence of frequency bandwidths of transmission signals and levels of signals output from the modulation circuit, specifies the level of a signal output from the modulation circuit 11 corresponding to the frequency bandwidth of the selected transmission signal and instructs the modulation circuit 11 to turn the level of a modulation signal to be output to the specified level. An AGC amplifier 5 amplifies the output of the signal processing circuit 12 up to a reference level. In the table 13, the wider frequency bandwidth of a transmission signal is made corresponding to the smaller level of a signal to be output from the modulation circuit 11.
