PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio tag reader having a recognition rate stable in any of areas by keeping output of each antenna constant by providing an output correction function for each output frequency channel. SOLUTION: In order to adjust difference in characteristic among frequency channels, a table for correcting the difference in characteristic among the frequency channels is provided in a memory 11, and a correction value to keep an output constant is recorded in advance. In switching a frequency channel, a channel output correction table 21 provided in the memory 11 is referred to and a control value equivalent to the correction value thereof is given to an output amplification circuit 13 to vary an amplification factor.
