PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electricity consumed by a Doppler sensor in a toilet bowl flushing device which detects a human body and waterflow in the toilet bowl by the Doppler sensor. SOLUTION: The toilet bowl flushing device is provided with the Doppler sensor for generating a differential signal from a difference between a frequency of a transmitted electric wave and that of a reflected wave, and a control means for controlling detection of the human body and the waterflow in the toilet bowl as the objects to be detected. The control means controls the detection by making the Doppler sensor transmit the electric wave periodically in cycles according to the objects to be detected. The control means changes the on-period of the electric wave transmission from the Doppler sensor in cycles according to the objects to be detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
