PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which can improve the dry performance, wet performance and ice performance of studless tires. SOLUTION: This rubber composition is characterized by comprising 100 pts.mass of (A) a rubber component consisting mainly of natural rubber and/or polyisoprene rubber, and polybutadiene rubber, 20 to 70 pts.mass of (B) at least one filler selected from the group consisting of carbon black and white fillers, and 3 to 30 pts.mass of (C) a (meth)acrylate-based (co)polymer having a weight-average mol.wt. of 2×10<SP>3</SP>to 50×10<SP>3</SP>converted into polystyrene.
