PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and easily execute registration work for exempting from warning a dropping or disconnection at a bedside of a hospital room installed with a corded nurse call slave machine by dispensing with conventional processes inevitably reducing the operation speed such as constantly transmitting/receiving polling data and registering for warning the dropping or disconnection and registering for exempting from the dropping or disconnection. SOLUTION: This nurse call apparatus is characterized in that, when a recovery button provided in the nurse call slave machine body is continuously pushed for a prescribed time or more, the line number of the nurse call slave machine body is stored in the nurse call master machine as those exempted from warning the dropping and disconnection, so that even if the corded nurse call slave machine whose line number is stored is unplugged, disconnected or dropped, the nurse call master machine does not issue the disconnection or dropping warning.
