<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission power control system capable of preventing the user processing capacity of a mobile communication system in a cell from being influenced, even when a high interference wave suddenly appears in an applied frequency band due to a failure or the like of a mobile apparatus in a CDMA system. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission power control circuit in a base station monitors SIR values and the state of interference wave power in all users by an SIR value monitoring circuit 5. When the interference wave power of each user in use is sharply increased and the SIR value is reduced, transmission power control is performed by using a TPC bit specified by the SIR value monitoring circuit 5 as substitute for the transmission power control of a mobile apparatus which generates a TPC bit based on a normal SIR value. For instance, the transmission power is controlled so that TPC bit patterns for alternately increase and decrease transmission power are used for users 1, 2, and the same TPC bit pattern is not used for the different users 1, 2 to reduce the influence of other user's interference wave power on the reception of the base station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
