PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a sheet-metal joint structure of a car body which can appropriately correspond with the need for stiffness and weight reduction of a vehicle such as an automobile which is formed by joining a plurality of sheet-metal parts. SOLUTION: The sheet-metal joint structure of the car is provided with two main panels (11, 12) and a reinforcing panel (14). The main panels (11, 12) are provided with flanges (11a, 12a) respectively in each border section, and the flanges (11a, 12a) are connected to each other by welding. Then the reinforcing panel (14) arranged between the two panels has a contact part (14a) in its border section, and the contact part (14a) is brought into contact with the main panels by avoiding a welding part (16) between the flanges of the two main panels.
