PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical shaping method capable of precisely forming a stereoscopic model having a desired shape. SOLUTION: In the optical shaping method, a photosetting resin liquid is selectively irradiated with light to successively form cured resin layers and these cured resin layers are successively laminated to form the stereoscopic model. Herein, the photosetting resin liquid is supplied in an amount enough to form one cured resin layer when one cured resin layer is formed. Further, a peripheral wall is formed at a position surrounding the forming position of the stereoscopic model but an opening part such as a through-hole or the like is provided to the peripheral wall.
