<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize solar cell output as a stable power source, even in a state where the output voltage is not so high in cloudy weather, or the like, when combining generator output with the solar cell output for use. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a system connection control section, including a high-voltage inverter circuit 11 for making the output of a generator 3 and a solar cell 1 link to a system power supply 4, and the output of the generator 3 is connected to the system power supply 4, along with the output of the solar cell 1. The output of the solar cell 1 is stepped down to a voltage, corresponding to voltage V2 of a battery 2 by a DC-DC converter 5. The DC-DC converter 5 is stepped down to the battery voltage, when the battery 2 is fully charged. When the battery 2 is insufficiently charged, the voltage is stepped down to a voltage for charging a level that is higher than the battery voltage. When the battery 2 is insufficiently charged, the step-up operation of the high-voltage inverter circuit 11 is stopped, and the battery 2 is charged preferentially by the solar cell 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
