A set history management system of an SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) and a method thereof are provided to enable an SNMP agent to set object values and to transmit the set information to all SNMP managers connected to a network, thereby storing and managing set/changed histories of the object values for each SNMP manager. SNMP managers(300,301,302) demand setup of object values by accessing a network device. An SNMP agent(310) sets the object values according to the demand, and transmits the set information to all of the SNMP managers(300,301,302) connected to a network. Storages(320,321,322) store histories of the set information.
