<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer for a lithium ion secondary battery, in which the heat shrinkage of a separator can be suppressed, and a thinner separator can be made usable without deteriorating battery characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This is the polymer for adhering a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator arranged between them in the lithium ion secondary battery provided with the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution, in which (A) a cationically polymerizable monomer unit, (B) a monomer unit that gives affinity to the electrolytic solution, (C) a monomer unit that gives sparing solubility to the electrolytic solution, and (D) a monomer unit containing hydrophilic groups of anionic property and nonionic property are contained, and this is the polymer which is obtained by a radical polymerization through an emulsion polymerization or suspension polymerization, and a rate of elution into a mixed solvent of ethylene carbonate (EC) and diethyl carbonate (DEC) [EC:DEC=5:5 (weight ratio)] is 10 wt.% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
