PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new energy battery different from a conventional battery. SOLUTION: This mechanical charge battery is equipped with an activated carbon fiber-like structure 3 to which carbon black and/or carbon nano fiber adheres by high temperature diffusion treatment. In this mechanical charge battery, the activated carbon fiber-like structure 3 originally having a large surface area is brought into a condition very rich in conductivity by carbon black (particle diameter of severalμm, for example) and carbon nano fiber (diameter of 150 nm and length of 10-20μm, for example) adhering to it by the high temperature diffusion treatment.
