PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller system capable of establishing connection between a PLC and a general-purpose serial device regardless of a communication condition between the PLC and the general-purpose serial device when the PLC is supported by a development support device. SOLUTION: This system is composed by forming a communication test execution means for executing a communication test to the general-purpose serial device by sequentially changing over a plurality of communication specifications respectively specified by destination address information prepared in advance and the communication condition in response to an automatic connection instruction from the development support device.
