PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for improving reliability in information distribution to nodes of a mobile ad hoc network. SOLUTION: Nodes (A-F) utilize location detection information to determine a predeterminable geographic target area (2) and every information is assigned a predeterminable lifetime. During a lifetime, a list of correspondingly neighbored nodes (A-E) within the target area (2) is added to a broadcast message by which the nodes (A-F) send information and only when there are further neighboring nodes (E) that are not contained in the received list within the target area, each of the nodes (A-E) receiving that message retransmits the message, thereby distributing information to all the nodes located within the target area (2) and each of the nodes (A-E) entering the target area (2).
