摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection device of air flow measuring device capable of detecting highly accurately an abnormality of the air flow measuring device. SOLUTION: This abnormality detection device for detecting an abnormality of AFM (air flow meter) 22, loaded on a vehicle equipped with the AFM 22 for measuring the flow rate of air sucked into an intake pipe 21 of an engine and an air suction device 25 for sucking forcibly the air into the intake pipe 21 is equipped with a forced suction condition determination function 14 for determining whether a condition for performing forced suction by the air suction device 25 is established or not, a driving signal output function 15 for outputting a driving signal for allowing the air suction device 25 to suck the air of a prescribed flow rate when determined that the condition for performing forced suction is established by the forced suction condition determination function 14, and an abnormality determination function 16 for determining an abnormality of the AFM 22 by comparing an output value from the AFM 22 with a comparison value corresponding to the prescribed flow rate when the driving signal is outputted to the air suction device 25 by the driving signal output function 15.
