PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high dielectric elastomer composition being compounded with a high dielectric ceramic which is obtained by the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis, can achieve a wide particle distribution and a high filling rate, and has excellent dielectric property, and also to provide an electronic parts for high frequency using the above material. SOLUTION: The composition comprises an elastomer and a high dielectric ceramic which is obtained by the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis method wherein reaction materials respectively comprising a metal powder containing a Group 4 element and having a specific surface area of 0.01-2 m<SP>2</SP>/g, a carbonate containing a Group 2 element and a substance generating oxygen by heating are compounded in predetermined amounts and the adiabatic flame temperature is 1,500°C or higher, and which has a specific permittivity of 15 or higher.
