PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal colloid dispersion given by a liquid-phase process and having excellent dispersion stability and storage stability, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This metal colloid dispersion contains an amine compound in which lone-pair electrons on a nitrogen atom compriseπ-conjugated electrons, and further contains at least one kind selected from a polymer having an ethylene oxide part and a vinyl polymer having a hydrophilic group.
