PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label sticking method for a tire by which a label with specific information displayed on it is stuck to an unvulcanized tire without being displaced in a radial direction, and also to provide a label affixing apparatus for tire which is manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: When a first splice part SS is press-bonded by press-bonding members 3 and 4 while a unvulcanized tire TA is supported by a splice part press-bonding device 1, a label LA is stuck to the unvulcanized tire TA. This eliminates the need to additionally provide a positioning device specifically provided to position the unvulcanized tire TA in a radial direction. The label LA is stuck while the first splice part SS is press-bonded by the press-bonding members 3 and 4. This eliminates the need to stop the operation of a splice part press-bonding device 1 in order to stick the label LA to the tire TA. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
