<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of easily working a connecting part of an upper side steering shaft and a lower side steering shaft, capable of easily acquiring specified steering feeling, easy to be assembled and capable of easily securing the life of a hollow cylindrical spring inserted into the connecting part. <P>SOLUTION: Rotating torque between an inner shaft 12B and an input shaft 22 is transmitted through hollow cylindrical springs 60A to 60C when steering torque is normal steering torque. Diametrically contracted quantities of the elastically deformed hollow cylindrical springs 60A to 60C becomes large and becomes the same as clearance quantity between hollow parts 607A to 607C of the hollow cylindrical springs 60A to 60C and a columnar pin 61 when the rotating torque between the inner shaft 12B and the input shaft 22 becomes larger than the normal steering torque. Consequently, the outer periphery of the columnar pin 61 makes contact with the hollow parts 607A to 607C of the hollow cylindrical springs 60A to 60C and transmits the rotating torque larger than the normal steering torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
