<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a image display apparatus, a image display method, and a program for the same for displaying a composite image where a large number of moving images and still images are superposed while making the memory quantity to be used less than heretofore. <P>SOLUTION: A image number array 703 stores identification information (image number) of a image positioned to the foreground of superposition to be displayed on a display/output section 706 for each pixel of the display/output section 706. A image display processing section 702 specifies the image to be displayed by each pixel of the screen of the display/output section 706 in accordance with the identification information being referred to from the image number array 703, acquires pixel data corresponding to each pixel of the screen of the display/output section 706 by referring to the image data of the specified image, and generates display data to be displayed on the display/output section 706 based on the acquired pixel data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
