<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work feeding method and a work feeding device capable of performing quickly the operations of attracting fast a work and releasing and managing well with a higher speed feed of works without requiring any complicated structure. <P>SOLUTION: The work feeding device is equipped with a first feeding mechanism part 2 to feed works 1 continuously, a work transport path 14 on which the works fed from the first supplying mechanism part 2 are transported, a separated feeding mechanism part 4 to attract fast any 1 (1b) of the works 1 being transported in row with an electrostatic attracting head 3 and check the following works 1 after the one 1 (1b) from proceeding, and a second feeding mechanism part 5 to take in only the works 1 (1a) located ahead of the position where attracting-fast by the separated feeding mechanism part 4 is made and send them to the next stage.
