<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide race information for people watching a race along the route of the race such as a long distance relay race, a marathon. <P>SOLUTION: A GPS terminal is fitted to each runner. While the runner runs, positional information is sent from the GPS terminal to a server. The server generates the race information including the position, rank, time, etc. of each runner using received positional information. The race information is push-distributed to a cellular phone of a user registered to a service of the race information in advance. The server further collects the position of the user in addition using the GPS function etc. of the cellular phone.
