PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant which is used for horticultural and silvicultural machines and can balance a biodegradability and an anti-sticking property at a high level. SOLUTION: This lubricant for the horticultural and silvicultural machines is characterized by containing a glycerol-fatty acid triester wherein 40 to 98 mass% of the fatty acid is oleic acid.
