PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk drive capable of contriving furthermore high density for a recording density by reducing noise due to a spin transfer effect. SOLUTION: A low frequency noise of a reproduced signal is suppressed by a high-pass filter 3, and an adverse influence due to the spin transfer effect peculiar to a reproduction head of perpendicular conductive type is eliminated. By this procedure, an S/N ratio can be improved, and a satisfied reproduction output is obtained while using a magneto-resistance effect film 10 of perpendicular conductive type.
