The system has a radiated beam signal transmitter (1) integrated in a remote control (2) to transmit a light signal at an angle of 10 to 20 degrees Celsius to a remote controllable equipment e.g. television. A reflector-adhesive label, which is adhered in the equipment reflects back the transmitted light to the remote control, in which sensors are integrated. Equipment control code in the remote control is activated based on the color coding of the reflected light as sensed by the sensors.
