PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED safety light that can easily charge an electricity-storing device during a power failure. SOLUTION: The LED safety light 1 comprises a unit body 2 of roughly a box shape provided with a solar cell panel 9 on the front surface 7a, plug blades 10, 10, which are inserted into plug insertion openings of a wall socket, on the back surface 8a, and light emitting diodes 11 on one side surface 7b, a charging device 3 and the electricity-storing device 4 accommodated inside the unit body 2, a charge changeover 5 means that connects either one of the solar cell panel 9 and the charging device 3 to the electricity-storing means 4, and a lighting means 6 that illuminates the light emitting diodes 11 using the electricity-storing device 4 as its power source.
