PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system which improves operability for a user by connecting a communication line to an opposite party with whom the user made a telephone conversation the last time, using a redial function. SOLUTION: A redial telephone number storage section 106 stores a redial telephone number to be used for redialing for re-connecting to a communication apparatus of a telephone number with which a telephone conversation is made the last time, and a communication control section 104 connects a communication line to the communication apparatus of a telephone number instructed to connect and stores the telephone number in the redial telephone number storage section 106 only when the telephone number is not the same as a telephone number of a monitoring center stored in a monitoring center telephone number storage section 102. A redial input section 105 accepts a redialing instruction, acquires a redial telephone number stored in the redial telephone number storage section 106, and instructs the communication control section 104 to connect the communication line to a communication apparatus of the acquired redial telephone number.
