PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device shortening the delay time of electronic document processing accompanying updating of an application program, and also to provide a dynamic substitution method of an application program in a multithread system. SOLUTION: A broker 112 makes a processing sorting means 113 sort a received electronic business document 102 to a processing thread 114. The processing thread 114 compares a revision 115 with the latest one, and if they are the same, it continues processing of the electronic business document 102 without stopping it. If they are different, it makes an application program 118 read, and, when it is completed, performs processing of the electronic business document 102 with the updated content.
