PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce, using a simple constitution, various states of heart beat of a living body, such as a human body. SOLUTION: A heart simulator 10 is constituted of: a heart model 12, having a plurality of mutually independent ventricles 11; a fluid feeding/discharging device 14 for feeding air to and discharging air from each ventricle 11; and a controller 15 for controlling the operation of the fluid feeding/discharging device 14. The heart model 12 is formed of an elastic material, such as Septon (R) which can be deformed according to moving-in and moving-out of the air to/from the ventricles 11. The controller 15 is provided, in such a manner as to be able to independently control feeding and discharging of the air to/from each of the ventricles 11 and, by creating independent beat flow of the air inside each of the ventricles 11, the beating state of the heart model 12 is formed.
