UNDERWATER LIVING-BODY POSITIONING SYSTEM, ECHO SOUNDER, HYDROPHONE, BASE STATION, AND UNDERWATER LIVING-BODY POSITIONING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify the position of an underwater living body migrating underwater in real time and acquire the position information acquired by the position specification in nearly real time. SOLUTION: The underwater living-body positioning method attaches an echo sounder 1(1(1), 1(2)) to a living body such as a fish F and allows it to migrate underwater, receives a sound wave transmitted from the echo sounder 1 by a plurality of hydrophones 2 floating on the water, transmits data on the incoming direction (incoming direction data) of the sound wave received by each hydrophone 2 to a base station 3 via radio waves, and at the base station 3 which has received the incoming direction data specifies the position of the underwater living body (the echo sounder 1) with respect to each hydrophone 2 from the relationship among incoming directions.
